I am glad to be part of the team at Rancho Mirage High School. When I was
fifteen years old I visited Paris and immediately fell in love with the French
culture and language. When I returned to New Mexico I began studying French in
high school. Years later, after receiving my BA in French, I packed up and
moved to France. The time I spent traveling and living over seas opened up my
eyes to the endless possibilities the world has to offer. I returned to New
Mexico and received my Master's in Education. It is then I moved to the
Coachella Valley to help open Desert Hot Springs High School where I taught for
8 years.
I have taught many subjects, French, theatre, dance, leadership and
many others, and I find it difficult to say which I like best. I have learned
over the years that it is the teaching of students, not the particular subject,
that I enjoy the most.
This is our 11th year at Rancho Mirage High School and every year I find something new to love. New teachers, new programs and new students continue to give their best and make this a wonderful school!
